We have been notified (on the 29th) that an outage has affected some of our customers as a sector had gone into safe mode to protect against a power surge.

This happened during the brief storm and would have meant there was no broadband for those affected since 4:53PM to 9:18AM until we were notified.

As the device was still able to be reached by our monitoring software, we were not aware of the outage.
